Course Description
Physical education class is child centered, and emphasizes enjoyable participation in physical activity. Students will develop the knowledge, attitudes, motor skills, behavioral skills, and confidence needed to adopt and maintain physically active lifestyles.
The primary goal of physical education class is to encourage students to develop positive attitudes about themselves and about physical activity so they will choose to be physically active throughout their lives.  This also includes developing the motor skills that will enable them to be successful in this lifestyle.
Health & Nutrition
Exercising helps you relax, makes you more fit, and makes you look and feel better.  Nutrition is how we fuel our body.  Exercise and good nutrition are things families can do together.  They are habits kids learn early and that have an important impact that last their entire lives.  Studies have also shown that nutrition and physical activity help students do well in school.
