Treasurer
The Treasurer’s Office proudly serves as the financial hub of Mohawk Local Schools, ensuring that the district’s finances are managed with integrity, accuracy, and transparency. Our work supports the district’s mission to provide high-quality educational opportunities for every student. In partnership with the Board of Education and the Superintendent, the Treasurer ensures the prudent fiscal management of the district’s funds. We strive to make the district’s operations, audits, and financial forecasts clear and accessible to our community and stakeholders.
Cathyrn Zimmer
Assistant Treasurer
Cathyrn has served the Mohawk Local School district since 2020. She is a licensed and experienced treasurer with a Bachelor's in Accounting from Heidelberg University and a Master's in Business Administration from the University of Findlay.
Cathyrn has been doing some variation of accounting for over 30 years. This includes corporate and small business general accounting, tax returns at local tax offices, and as an auditor for the State of Ohio.
Cathyrn looks forward to continuing her career as Mohawk's Assistant Treasurer, serving the students and district as a financial steward.
