Dear Parents/Guardians, Students, Staff, and Community Members,
I am writing to inform you of recent changes to the Mohawk Local Schools district calendar starting October 6, 2021. Mohawk Local Schools will have six (6) planned two-hour delays throughout the school year for the staff and administration to work collaboratively together to increase student achievement, student wellness, and overall student success.
The time will be used primarily for the following, but not limited to:
- Professional development
- Grade level meetings
- Subject level meetings
- Data “dives”
- Building level meetings
- District level meetings
The planned two-hour delays will be for the months that we currently DO NOT have professional development planned. Additionally, the day that the delays will occur will always be the FIRST Wednesday of that specific month.
