Mohawk Local Schools Joint Statement between Mohawk School Board President Josh Messersmith and Mohawk Education Association President Krista Jacoby:

The last few months have been devoted to finding a resolution and a strong plan forward between the Mohawk Local Schools and the Mohawk Education Association (MEA) in shared support of our students. 

Today, we are happy to report that an agreement has been reached and 85% of the MEA members have voted to accept the contract. While the details cannot yet be disclosed, we can say it was a collaborative effort between both parties.

The Mohawk Board of Education will vote to ratify the new contract at its next School Board Meeting in the very near future.
